A pregnant mother of three is forced to sell her baby stroller after her husband abandons the family, leaving her struggling to care for their children alone.
Anne Sargent sits on the kitchen floor late at night, quietly crying once her three kids are asleep. It’s the only moment she has to let her emotions out. She gently places a hand on her growing belly and apologizes to her unborn baby, feeling overwhelmed and defeated despite trying her best.
Only a couple of months earlier, life looked completely different. Anne had been happily married and preparing for her fourth child, confident in her family and her future.
