Carly finds an unfamiliar makeup bag hidden in the bedroom and immediately becomes suspicious. When she confronts her husband, he quickly invents a story, claiming it belongs to his mother. Unconvinced and determined to uncover the truth, Carly secretly installs a hidden camera in their bedroom. What she later discovers on the footage leaves her completely stunned.
While their young son sleeps nearby, Carly quietly cleans their modest bedroom, finding comfort in caring for him. He has become the center of her world, especially as her marriage with Josh has grown distant and strained, filled with silence instead of warmth. Their emotional connection has faded, leaving Carly feeling alone and emotionally exhausted.
During her cleaning, Carly notices something unusual under the bed—a small women’s makeup bag. For a brief moment, she hopes it might be a thoughtful gesture from Josh, remembering her past wish for a new one.
